June 19, 2010:
The convention is only
10 days away! Only a week until local layout visits start. Remote
(Grand Tour) layout visits start next Friday the 25th. The convention
is looking very good. Pre-registrations are very high, table sales are
1/3rd higher than O Scale West's best year, hotel room rentals are very
high, and everybody Rod talks to says they know several people who are
intending to come. Compared to O Scale West, the convention will be
much larger. Should be a great time! If you are on the fence about
coming, think hard about what you are going to miss by not coming, and
come!
June 20, 2010:
The registration page
was updated to explain why late pre-registrations are discouraged. You
alternative is to register as a walkup.
Note on the weather. It
has been cool in the evenings, so a sweater is recommended. Of course
all that could change by the time of the convention and if it does you
may not need a sweater. However, it is better to have something you
don't need rather than need something you don't have.
June 22, 2010:

visiting layouts, clinics, and banquet are now available. To download
